The Presbyterian College Theatre Department’s fall play series titled “Out of the Woods: One Act Fairy Tale Adaptations” will take place in Harper Theatre on Thursday, Nov. 12; Friday, Nov. 13; Thursday, Nov. 19; and Friday, Nov. 20. All performances will take place at 7:30 p.m.

This play series will come from the work of theatre students in the Adaptation class and creative writing students in the Fairy Tale Adaptation class. Each evening of the series will feature two one-act plays written by theatre students and three or four staged readings of works in progress by creative writing students. All of the works will explore the archetypal meanings expressed in fairy tales from a variety of cultures.

Tickets are $5 online up to 5 p.m. on the day of the show or $7 at the Harper Box Office after 6 p.m. on show dates. The online box office will open on Nov. 1 for the fall show.
