Presbyterian College to host Kindall-Nitsch piano duo

The Kindall-Nitsch piano duo will perform at Presbyterian College on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in Edmunds Recital Hall and is free and open to the public.

This piano performance will serve as the college’s first performance of the new academic year.

Susan Kindall, professor of music in piano performance and pedagogy at Bob Jones University is the founder and artistic director of the Distinguished Lecturers in Piano Performance and Pedagogy guest artist series at Bob Jones. She is known internationally as a performing member of three professional classical piano duos, numerous chamber groups, and as a solo recitalist. In addition to her successful classical performance career, Kindall has toured churches throughout the U.S. as a sacred composer, arranger, solo pianist, and soprano soloist.

Dr. Paul Nitsch is the Carolyn G. McMahon professor of music and artist-in-residence on the faculty of Queens University of Charlotte. He has served as artistic director for the Friends of Music at Queens University of Charlotte and as executive director for the Swannanoa Music Festival.
