Jarrold “Jerry” Reeves, a 1982 alumnus who was a member of the Blue Hose football team. Following graduation, Reeves, spent 29 years on active duty in the U.S. Army before retiring in 2011. Through his role as a contractor, he was working in Afghanistan when he fell victim to an apparent suicide bombing at Bagram Airfield.
PC is grateful for the commitment to our country displayed by Reeves and all alumni who have served in the armed forces. Our deepest sympathy is extended to Reeves’ family and friends, including his classmates and fellow players at PC. As a close-knit community of faculty, staff, students, and alumni, the impact of Reeves’ untimely loss strikes a solemn chord. We will continue to keep his family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
