Ann Taylor Morgan ’81 elected to Presbyterian College board of trustees

Ann Taylor Morgan of Rock Hill, S.C. was elected to serve on the Presbyterian College board of trustees at its Nov. 2 and 3 meeting. Morgan, a 1981 alumna of the College began her service on the board Jan 1, 2017.

Morgan is a human resources leader with a record of excellence in maximizing operations and engaging staff members. She currently works for Duke Energy in Charlotte, N.C., where she has served as director of human resources since 2015. In this role, she provides human resource integration, change management, and chief-of-staff functionality for the company which employs approximately 30,000 people.

Having worked at Duke since 2000, Morgan provided employee and organizational development, project management of key enterprise human resource initiatives, and restructuring through multiple mergers and acquisitions. She has also directed various work and project teams.

Morgan is a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Rock Hill where she has served on various boards and committees including the Staff Parish Relations Committee and the College Care Parents Council. She has also been a kindergarten Sunday school teacher, Bible study facilitator, and as a Stephen minister.
