Chinese Professors Participated Teacher Training at USC

On November 11, 2017, Chinese professors and instructors from Presbyterian College attended the teacher training programs sponsored by Confucius Institute at University of South Carolina.

Lucy Chu Lee, former president of the Chinese Language Association of Secondary-Elementary Schools (CLASS), gave a presentation about Planning and Delivery Instructional Excellence in the K-12 Chinese Classroom. She first introduced the principles, goals, and standards of language teaching. Then she talks about the process of backward design. Afterwards, she shared her experiences of classroom activities design, all of which are highly appreciated by all participants.

All professors and instructors are deeply impressed by the concept and practices demonstrated. They hope there will be more such programs in the future.
