Chamber Orchestra Fall Concert Nov. 15
The Presbyterian College Chamber Orchestra Fall Concert, directed by Dr. Richard Thomas, will take place on Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Edmunds Hall.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The concert will host Dr. Reed Gallo, associate professor of music at Lander University, in the Telemann “Trumpet Concerto in D.” Brinson Moore, a student of the Laurens Academy of Music at PC, will be featured in the Bach “Violin Concerto in A minor.”
PC students Paul Peart II, Jarvernique Tinsley and Collin McKinnon will also perform as soloists in the Corelli “Christmas Concerto.”
In addition, 30 string players of the Cane Bay High School Orchestra from Summerville, S.C., will join the PC Chamber Orchestra in performances of Russian composer Vasily Kalinnikov’s “Serenade for Strings” and British composer Peter Warlock’s “Capriol Suite.”
