Anderson Names PC alumnus as City Manager

Anderson Mayor Terence Roberts announced David McCuen IV ’06 has been named city manager for the City of Anderson. McCuen has served the city as assistant city manager since November 2015. McCuen will fill the role upon the retirement of Linda McConnell, a 41-year veteran of the city, who was named city manager in 2015.

McCuen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Presbyterian College, and he earned a master’s degree in Public Administration from Clemson University. He served as city manager for the City of Abbeville prior to coming to Anderson. During his tenure in Abbeville, his achievements included the development of that city’s first multi-year strategic plan, downtown revitalization projects and infrastructure upgrades.
