Homecoming 2019 is Friday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 19. Registration for the two-day celebration of all things Blue Hose is open.

“It will be great to welcome our alumni back to campus at such an exciting time for PC,” says Leni Patterson, executive director of alumni relations. “We have the most new students in 10 years, the first class of PA students starts October 1, seniors moved into brand new housing behind Springs and campus is beautiful as ever.

“It’s just a great time to be a Blue Hose.”

Homecoming Celebration

Neville Hall will be the site of the homecoming celebration on Friday, Oct. 18, from 7 to 10 p.m. In the heart of campus is where you’ll find food trucks, music, dancing and fellowship. There will also be a designated area for the Class of 1969. The food trucks that will be on campus are the Chuck Truck, Kono Pizza, Pig On Fire BBQ, the Pound Cake Man, and Tacos & Bla Bla Bla.

Alumni Awards Ceremony

All alumni and their guests are invited to Edmunds Hall on Saturday, Oct. 19 as we recognize distinguished alumni. The event lasts from 10 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

The Class of 1969 will be recognized as the newest members of the Ben Hay Hammet Society. The alumni association awards will be presented. President Bob Staton ’68 and the Alumni Board will pass along updates.

Barbecue

Join fellow alumni and family as we enjoy a traditional Homecoming BBQ lunch under the oaks at Bailey Memorial Stadium Stadium. The fun starts on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 11:30 a.m. The cost us $10 per person at the door.

PC Football vs. Kennesaw State

Cheer on the Presbyterian College Blue Hose as we take on Kennesaw State on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 2:30 p.m For ticket information or to purchase tickets, please call (864) 833-8240 or visit the “Fan Zone” tab on www.gobluehose.com. Go, Blue Hose!

Reunion Events

Does your class year-end in a 4 or 9? If so, it is a reunion year for your class. Currently, the classes of 1974, 1984, 1989, and 2009 are planning reunion tailgates.

If you are interested in helping organize a reunion tailgate for your class prior to the football game on Saturday, Oct. 19th, at Homecoming, please email Leni Patterson ’83 as soon as possible for more information. The Alumni Relations office will help promote your reunion tailgate with your classmates, as well as provide a tent, a couple of tables, PC swag, and paper products for your tailgate.
