As part of the opening for PC’s 141st academic year, I am pleased to share with you our opening convocation ceremony. Convocation is a time for our campus to come together, to present awards and recognize student and community achievements, to share readings and messages for the upcoming year, for new members of our community to share in our honor system, and for all of us to mark the passage of time and to launch the undergraduate academic experience on campus.

With the COVID-19 pandemic making large gatherings a challenge for everyone, we made convocation a virtual experience this year. You may find the ceremony at: 2020 virtual Opening Convocation.

Join me in congratulating those individuals whom you will see receive awards, feel free to join along in the recitation of the honor system pledge and the singing alma mater, consider the readings and reflections provided, and I hope you find this event truly meaningful as we proceed this semester.
