Lindsay Wentz Caulder ’98 earns 2021 Women in Business Award

Lindsay Wentz Caulder, a 1998 graduate of Presbyterian College and the vice president of human resources for World Finance in Greenville, was recently named a 2021 Women in Business award winner.

Presented by Integrated Media Publishing, the award recognizes women in business for their career and company achievements and their community involvement.

“We are so proud of Lindsay and cannot think of anyone more deserving of this honor,” said Chad Prashad, a 2002 PC alumnus and the president and chief executive officer of World Acceptance Corporation, the parent company of World Finance. “She is an integral part of our executive team, bringing enthusiasm, energy, and empathy as she works to provide meaningful career opportunities and a great work environment for our more than 3,500 Team Members across the country. This award speaks to the way Lindsay approaches solving problems and lifting up people: with compassion, positive spirit, and tenacity.”

World Finance is a Greenville-based personal finance company that serves more than 100 million customers each year. Caulder joined the company in 2016 and has worked to build a strong company culture that fosters upward mobility, offers competitive benefits packages, and encourages supportive and fun working environments.

Driven by Caulder’s efforts, World Finance’s workplace culture has earned the company national and regional accolades and its parent company, World Acceptance, is South Carolina’s only Top Workplace USA winner in 2021.

Caulder also established the company’s “Culture of Caring” program and its associated foundation to support employees in need. She is also credited with creating a mentorship program for young professional women and overhauling the company’s benefits program.
