About Mr. Barnard

Brandon Barnard joins Presbyterian College as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. He is the primary athletic trainer for the volleyball and baseball teams.

Prior to coming to PC in July of 2019, Barnard served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Alabama A&M University. During his stint at A&M, he worked primarily with the softball, volleyball, baseball, men’s basketball, cross country and track & field programs. He earned a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with concentration in Applied Sport Science from Alabama A&M in May 2019.

Barnard received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Exercise Science from Olivet Nazarene University in May 2015. While serving as a student athletic trainer with the Tigers, Brandon worked with the baseball, swimming, track & field, women’s basketball, and football teams. He also served off campus rotations at Bishop McNamara High School and Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School. In addition, Brandon was a four-year member of the Olivet football team.

Brandon earned his national certification as an athletic trainer in 2015 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association.
