About Ms. Heidt

Danielle Heidt joins Presbyterian College as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She will assist with the football team in the fall and will be the primary athletic trainer for the men’s and women’s tennis teams as well as cheerleading.

Prior to coming to PC in July of 2019, Heidt served as an athletic training fellow at Mississippi State University. During her stint with the Bulldogs, she worked directly with the women’s tennis program, while assisting with other sports when necessary, such as, football and women’s basketball. Previously, Danielle was a seasonal athletic trainer at Virginia Military Institute working with football, swim and dive, and women’s water polo. Danielle has also served as an athletic trainer at the Woodward Camp in Pennsylvania for the past four summers.

Heidt a native of Atlanta, Georgia received a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Alabama in 2015 and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2017. During her time at UT Chattanooga Danielle gained experience working with the football and men’s basketball team, as well as, working with multiple high schools in the area.

Danielle earned her national certification as an athletic trainer in 2017 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association.
