About Ms. Trompeter

Joscelyn Trompeter joins Presbyterian College as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She will act as the primary athletic trainer for the women’s basketball and acrobatics & tumbling teams.

Prior to coming to PC in July of 2019, Trompeter served as an athletic trainer with Encore Rehabilitation in Birmingham, Alabama. During her stint with Encore Rehabilitation, she provided coverage at Simmons Middle School, Birmingham Prep Cardinals, and Bessemer Physical Therapy Clinic. Previously, Joscelyn was a seasonal athletic trainer at Virginia Military Institute working with track & field and cross country.

Trompeter a native of Plano, Texas received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University in 2015 and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the Texas A&M University in 2017. During her time at Texas A&M Joscelyn gained experience working with the football, track & field, and men’s basketball teams, as well as, working with the corps of cadets and an off-campus rotation at A&M Consolidated High School.

Joscelyn earned her national certification as an athletic trainer in 2017 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the South Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the Armed Forces Athletic Trainers’ Society. She is also QPR Suicide Prevention Certified.
