Professional Interest

Dr. Daniel “Ben” Bailey received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Texas Tech University in 2017. His teaching and research interests lie primarily in the areas of public administration/policy, and state and local politics. Specifically, Dr. Bailey is interested in examining the dynamics surrounding local (rural) governance, especially as it relates to sustainability policy and public participation. His work has been published in Political Behavior, The Social Science Journal, and the Midsouth Political Science Review, among others.
