Before becoming the Administrative Assistant for the Education Department at PC, Ms. Tumblin worked at Piedmont Technical College (Laurens Campus) as the LRC Library Assistant, as an Advisor, and eventually as the evening Front Desk Receptionist. She also worked for Laurens School District 56 as a Shadow, Instructional Aide for the school district’s SMART program, and was a substitute teacher as well.

Ms. Tumblin has also worked with young children that range from ages infant to 5 years of age who have different learning and behavioral capabilities. She has worked within a church nursery setting as well as a daycare setting for up to 15 years combined.
