Job Description Summary:

The Economics and Business Administration Department at Presbyterian College invites
applications for a tenure-track position in Accounting at the Assistant Professor level to begin in Fall 2023.

Teaching areas include Financial and Managerial Accounting Principles and upper-level accounting courses. Candidates will need to be able to teach either Auditing or Taxation as one of the upper-level accounting courses. This professor may also be responsible for offering other business and finance courses as needed. Presbyterian College typically has a 3-4 teaching load. Additional responsibilities include advising students, assessing student learning, curriculum development, and providing service to the department, college, and community. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal art setting. The College’s two accounting professors support undergraduate majors in Economics and Business Administration (with concentrations in Accounting, Management, Marketing, or Data Analytics). At a minimum, candidates should have a Master in Accounting degree or MBA with an
Accounting concentration from an AACSB accredited program. CPA, CMA, or other accounting-related designations are desirable.
