Assistant Professor of Art with a specialization in Graphic Design / Digital Arts

The Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Presbyterian College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level, starting in August 2025. We are seeking a highly qualified individual with teaching and creative work in the area of graphic design and/or digital art. Candidates will be expected to develop new courses in digital media and graphic design and maintain their own creative work appropriate for a faculty member at a liberal arts college; candidates should also possess a commitment to student access and equity in higher education. The ideal candidates will also be able to contribute to existing courses in the art major (e.g., Basic 2D Design, Drawing, Painting, Photography, or Printmaking) as well as General Education courses that fulfill the College’s student learning outcomes for fine arts.

An earned master’s degree (from a regionally accredited institution) in art, digital media, graphic design or a related field is required for this position.
