Spring Tour Dates for PC Choir and Ringers

The sounds of anthems, sacred hymns, and spiritual songs will fill sanctuaries when The Presbyterian College Choir and The PC Ringers visit churches in Oak Ridge, NC; Kingstree, SC; James Island, SC; Mt. Pleasant, SC; and Columbia, SC. The PC Choir is the premier touring choral ensemble at Presbyterian College and The PC Ringers is among the finest collegiate bell choirs in the Southeast US. Together on tour in 2015, they will be present a performance of sacred repertoire that will include traditional selections from the Renaissance, Classical, and Romantic music periods as well as traditional and modern arrangements of hymn tunes and spirituals.

 

The PC Choir and Ringers will be touring off-campus from February 27th-March 2nd.  Attend a performance of the PC Choir and Ringers at the following locations, dates, and times:

  • Friday, February 27th, 7:30pm, Williamsburg Presbyterian Church, 411 North Academy Street, Kingstree, SC
  • Sunday, March 1st, 8:30am and 11:00am, James Island Presbyterian Church, 1632 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC
  • Sunday, March 1st, 3:00pm, Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 302 Hibben Street, Mount Pleasant, SC
  • Monday, March 2nd, 7:00pm, Forest Lakes Presbyterian Church, 6500 North Trenholm Road, Columbia, SC

 

The PC Choir is directed by Dr. Porter Stokes, also Chair of the Department of Music at PC.  Dr. Ron Davis is the director of The PC Ringers and also serves as college organist and accompanist for the PC Choir.
