The Championship Spirit

Colleges talk a lot about the same things: their academic prowess, the vast array of experiences they offer, the quality of campus life, and on and on.

Presbyterian College doesn’t shy away from those claims. We just add more firepower to them. Tremendous firepower. Along with the significant depth and a very healthy dose of humanitarianism. Because all roads at Presbyterian College lead to a life of service in a way that isn’t obligatory or superficial but rather world-changing and life-affirming.

Our approach to education and to service involves extraordinary innovation. We don’t do “typical” at PC. By service, we don’t just mean picking up litter at a park or mentoring a child for a weekend, noble as those activities are. We mean digging into the root causes of societal challenges so that our students can effect real change, lasting change, and reformative change.

To do such extraordinary work, we created a bold new strategic plan. The roadmap for this plan is designed to give backbone to our claim of being “America’s Innovative Service College.” It all begins with three overarching pillars that set us apart and define who we are. Rather than perpetuate the status quo, these pillars challenge us to lead a life of extraordinary service that infuses us with a championship spirit and that revs the engines of all who associate themselves with our college.
