Duo Astralis is an innovative and dynamic duo performing with much acclaim throughout the United States with flutist, Angela Massey, and pianist, Vahan Sargsyan. Their PC program is entitled “International Songs and Dances” and includes a world premiere of a work written for Duo Astralis by a composer from Armenia. There will also be an encore by Rachmaninoff.

The Hallelujah Singers

The Hallelujah Singers celebrate, through their high-energy performances interwoven with storytelling and song, the Gullah and West African Culture and music that is so much a part of the heritage of the Sea Islands. They can often be found performing in the Beaufort, St. Helena Island, Penn Center area of the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Featuring Dr. Marlena Smalls, an acclaimed expert on Gullah culture who has performed internationally and on film. In addition to many productions for PBS, SCETV and GPTC, she is known to international audiences as Bubba’s mom in the Academy Award winning motion picture Forrest Gump.
