Honors Day Symposium
Honors Day Symposium
The annual Honors Day Symposium offers students an opportunity to share the results of their scholarly efforts with the Presbyterian College community. The Symposium and Honors Day Convocation honor outstanding academic work, with inclusion of art, literary, humanist, and scientific presentations and posters from students of all academic years.
Honors Day will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2024, and the submission deadline for abstracts is Monday, March 18.
Each participant was required to submit a proposal that includes the author’s name, the supervising professor and department, paper/poster title, and an abstract. An abstract provides a brief description of the research being presented typically including information about the topic, methods, and results of the research. For an overview of the work of these talented PC students, please refer to the 2022 Honors Day Symposium Abstract Book.
Special recognition is extended to Dr. Stefan Wiecki and to the Divisional Coordinators:
- Dr. Julie M. Meadows (Humanities)
- Dr. Sarah Burns (Social Sciences)
- Dr. Katherine Hanlon (Pharmacy)
- Dr. Margo Petukh (Natural Sciences)
- Dr. Philip Perdue (Abstract Book Editor)
