Why do you want to be a PA?

I want to be a PA in order to play an integral part in the medical team. I really enjoy working and collaborating with others as part of a team. I have experience in many other areas of healthcare (laboratory, transport, EMS, physician shadowing, PA shadowing, etc) and I know that this is the right position for me to have the greatest impact on patients.

Why did you choose Presbyterian College PA Program?

I knew that I wanted to stay in this area (I’m from Greenville, SC) and continue to be involved in the community where I have lived and worked. I chose the PC PA program based off of their reputation. The university has multiple other professional medical graduate programs that have been extremely successful. Recommendations from prior students and the program’s approach to medical education were also huge factors. After interacting with some of the staff during the interview process, I knew that I had found the right program for me!
