Tri Beta Biological Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and Converse College Softball

What did you do after you graduated?

I worked as a physical therapy aide throughout college and continued to work there after graduation.

If you’ve done any volunteer work, please list what you’ve done and where.

Habitat for Humanity – I volunteered to help build homes for families in need. Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve, Department of Social Services; I volunteered to help children. Hospice Resale, Fair Haven Home; I assisted with the physical therapy department. Camp Hooty Hoo; I volunteered at this Type I diabetes camp for children.

What are some of your hobbies or interests?

I enjoy reading, traveling with family, spending time at the lake, and playing with my three dogs.

Why do you want to be a PA?

I want to be a PA so that I can actively be a part of supporting and caring for people’s health. I also love the idea of collaborating as a team with a physician to provide medical care to those in need.

Why did you choose the Presbyterian College PA Program?

I chose the PC PA program because of the Christian values and small-town feel both on the campus and in the community.
