What activities and organizations were you involved in as an undergraduate?
Alpha Epsilon Delta national pre-health honor society, Gamecock Quidditch, Dance Marathon
What did you do after you graduated?
I worked as a Medical Assistant at a Dermatology office in Columbia, SC.
If you’ve done any volunteer work, please list what you’ve done and where.
I volunteered at the Free Medical Clinic in Columbia, SC for 3 years during my undergraduate education. I also participated in Dance Marathon for 3 years during my undergraduate career.
How or why did you become involved in this volunteer work?
I learned about the clinic through other students and wanted to get involved more in the community. I saw what Dance Marathon did in the community and wanted to learn more about the cause, then I fell in love with the organization.
What are some of your hobbies or interests?
I like to watch Grey’s Anatomy and hand out with my cat. I also like kayaking and sight-seeing.
Why do you want to be a PA?
In my experience working with PAs, they are very caring and personable. I felt like that role fit my personality very well and I look forward to being able to use my special skills to help others.
Why did you choose Presbyterian College PA Program?
The faculty really cares about our success as students. Having that support system to guide you through your education was something that was really important to me.
