What activities and organizations were you involved in as an undergraduate?

Alpha Epsilon Delta,  a medical fraternity.

What did you do after you graduated?

I worked as a certified nursing assistant on the orthopedic trauma unit at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, S.C.

If you’ve done any volunteer work, please list what you’ve done and where.

I went on a medical mission trip to Costa Rica through International Service Learning and Clemson University.

How or why did you become involved in this volunteer work?

It was a club offered through Clemson, and their mission and goals were what I was looking for in a club. I wanted some experience in other countries to broaden my horizons and it was by far the best experience I’ve ever had.

What are some of your hobbies or interests?

I love traveling wherever and whenever I can. I love to hike and explore nature. And of course shopping.

Why do you want to be a PA?

I want to promote health and wellness to people on a personal level. I want to make a difference in people’s lives and be an advocate for a better well-being in everyone’s lives.

Why did you choose the Presbyterian College PA Program?

I chose Presbyterian College because I loved the small college feel. During my interview, it was very personal compared to the other schools I interviewed at. The faculty was really interested in getting to know you as a person and how you would mesh with their way of teaching and their faculty. Everyone came across as wanting to make sure you had the resources you needed and were willing to work with you one on one to make this the easiest decision.
