Cole majored in biology and minored in chemistry at PC. He graduated magna cum laude in 2013.

Cole was involved in campus life at PC, including:

  • Student Life Council member
  • president of the PC Interfraternity Council
  • chapter president of Theta Chi fraternity
  • chapter risk manager of Theta Chi fraternity

After graduation, Cole began working full-time as an emergency department technician at Conway Medical Center in Conway, S.C.,  while finishing up prerequisites for PA school.

“My undergrad experience at PC challenged me as a student while giving me the opportunity to serve my campus community and develop as a student leader,” Cole said.

“Based on my success as an undergrad, I know the PA Program at PC will give me the best opportunity to prepare for a future career in medicine.”

He’s certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Cole became a basic life support instructor at the hospital where he worked.

Cole has served others as a camp counselor at Camp Pride in Horry County, S.C. The three-week camp was hosted by Horry County Police Department.

Cole also participated in a volunteer cleanup in Horry County and the Anderson Buddy Walk in Anderson, S.C., which helps raise awareness for Down Syndrome.
