Ethan Casey | Physicians Assistant Doctoral Program | Presbyterian College | Clinton SCEthan Casey

PA Student
Class of 2021

Hometown: Woodruff, S.C.

Ethan graduated from Presbyterian College in 2018. He majored in biology and minored in chemistry and environmental science. At PC, Ethan founded and lead the Pre-Physician Assistant Club. He was also the president of the chapter of the American Chemical Society and the Pre-Medical Club.

Ethan also volunteered at Head Start in Laurens.

“I became involved with this program through the American Chemical Society at PC,” he said. “Our chapter volunteered there during their science day. During that visit I noticed how intrigued the students were about the science field that I decided to continue returning.”

After graduating, Ethan worked as a product development chemist but wanted to become a PA because of how versatile the career is.

“You do not have to be tied to one specialty, therefore you can learn the entire spectrum of medicine,” he said

Ethan decided to return to the PC PA program because PC felt “like home.”

“The small town atmosphere, beautiful campus, and challenging curriculum are only a few of the wonderful things this campus entails,” Ethan says.

“The PA staff is friendly and inviting. I am confident they will push us to our highest potential and they will truly care for us.”
