Heather graduated from Presbyterian College in 2012. She majored in biology and minored in chemistry and business administration.

In 2010, she won the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award from the South Carolina Academy of Science and completed summer undergraduate research at the Medical University of SC.

While at PC, Heather also participated in the Big Sister program at Thornwell.

After graduation, Heather worked as a laboratory technician, an EMT and a medical assistant.

“I want to not only treat my patients but have the opportunity to form relationships with them and the community,” she said about becoming a PA. “I also want to have a work-life balance that allows me to be present for my family.”

Heather says she chose the Presbyterian College PA program because of the quality of the professors and their commitment to their students and community.
