PA Student
Class of 2021

Hometown: Mansfield, Ohio

Justin Stentz earned his bachelor’s degree with cum laude honors from Cleveland State University. He majored in health science and minored in biology.

While at Cleveland State, Justin worked with the Inlet Dance Theater, where he taught, choreographed, and performed professional modern dance.

After graduating, Justin worked as a pharmacy technician and managed a restaurant.

Justin credits much of his interest in healthcare to his family.

“I was raised in a large family with five siblings,” Justin said.

“My younger brother Isaac developed brain damage immediately after birth, and I attribute a great deal of my love and desire to care for others to caring for him.”

Justin decided to become a PA because of the career’s ability to serve others.

“Both caring for my handicapped brother in my youth and serving people through various jobs and commitments my entire adult life has allowed me to realize how passionate and determined I am to leave those I come into contact with in a better place than when I met them,” he says.

“Caring for people in need and providing healing to those who hurt are core values in my life. I believe that becoming a PA will allow me to fulfill my calling which is to serve.”

Justin chose PC because of the school’s devotion to service.

“I have always felt that serving others is at the center of who I am, and I am very excited to be a part of an educational institution with the same beliefs,” Justin says.
