What activities and organizations were you involved in as an undergraduate?
I was a member of the F45 fitness class at Clemson University.
What did you do after you graduated?
Since graduating, I continued to work as an electronic medical record reviewer.
If you’ve done any volunteer work, please list what you’ve done and where.
During the summer of 2019, I served on a medical mission trip in San Jose, Costa Rica.
How or why did you become involved in this volunteer work?
I had enrolled in the study abroad class with Clemson University’s Health Missions in Central America program. I chose to become involved in this particular volunteer work not only because of my passion towards the medical field, but also having the opportunity to learn about different cultures and people of different backgrounds and beliefs.
What are some of your hobbies or interests?
I enjoy working out, spending time with family and friends, and family camping trips.
Why do you want to be a PA?
I always had a passion for helping people, tending to be more others-directed in my thinking. After my shadowing experiences and volunteer work, I have learned that this profession requires commitment to a continuing journey in which I must never stop growing and learning new things. I want to be a PA so I can make a difference in someone’s life.
Why did you choose the Presbyterian College PA Program?
I choose this program based on the school’s motto, Dum Vivimus Servimus, and the mission and values.
