Matthew graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2017 with a degree in biology. While in school, he volunteered with Be the Match (a nonprofit that serves those diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers) and Together We Rise (a nonprofit that serves children in foster care).

After graduating, Matthew worked as a certified nursing assistant and as a software engineer.

“I am passionate about serving those less fortunate in a healthcare capacity,” Matthew says about becoming a PA.

He chose PC because of the PA program’s values and the campus.

Matthew enjoys backpacking, playing the guitar and cooking.
