Class of 2021

Hometown: Bellefontaine, Ohio

Monica graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She graduated magna cum laude with honors.

At Coastal, Monica was involved in the Pre-Health Advisory Committee and the Pre-Med Club.

After graduation, Monica worked as a scribe at the Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach and took a month-long road trip across the U.S.

Monica has done a lot of service work, including volunteering at Red Cross, Relay for Life, and the Logan County Humane Society.

“I want to be a PA to work in the medical field and help at least one person every single day,” she said. “There are not too many professions in which you can make someone’s day better every shift.

“I am also excited to be the very first PA class at Presbyterian College and pave the way for the rest of the physician assistant students in years to come.”
