PA Student
Class of 2021

Hometown: Raleigh, N.C.

Sally Hart graduated cum laude from Presbyterian College in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a minor in Spanish.

While working on her undergraduate degree, Sally ran for the women’s cross country team. She was also a part of the Pi Mu Epsilon (honorary national math society), the Pre-PA Club, and the Spanish Club.

After graduation, Sally coached middle school cross country until starting PA classes. She volunteered with English as a Second Language classes at a local church too.

“I love learning Spanish and enjoyed teaching English as a way to help others learn, while also learning things myself,” Sally says.

“I first became interested in being a physician assistant after I got injured from long distance running. I loved the fact that PA’s are able to be flexible and switch specialties throughout their careers.”

Sally came to the PC PA program because of her experience at PC.

“I watched PC work so hard to get this program started and completely trust that they will not fail in preparing us to work in the field of medicine,” Sally says.
