SimLabClassrm (5)Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy employs a holistic admissions philosophy, and the Admissions Committee considers all application materials submitted by the applicant.

Interested students should complete an undergraduate PC application for admission as well as a Supplemental Application by March 1st.

The academic rigor of the high school curriculum, performance in those courses, rank in class, student essays and short answers, student activities, community service, professional exploration, and any letters of recommendation are all considered when making admissions decisions.

High School Courses

Presbyterian College requires the completion of a four-year high school course of study, which includes the following courses:

4 units of English
4 units of Math
2 or more units of the same Foreign Language
2 or more units of Laboratory Science
3 or more units of History and/or Social Sciences

Professional Exploration

The Early Entry Pre-Pharmacy Program’s application includes questions about how you have explored the pharmacy profession including work experience, volunteering in pharmacy settings, and/or shadowing or interviewing pharmacists. Career exploration is not a mandatory requirement for admission, but helps showcase your desire to pursue pharmacy.

Interested students are encouraged to submit their application for admission and the Early Entry Pre-Pharmacy application by the Priority Decision Deadline of March 15th of their senior year. Once admitted to the College and the Early Entry Pre-Pharmacy program, students are required to secure their spot in the cohort by submitting a non-refundable $250 security deposit by May 1.
