Gerald Knight, a tenor, received his doctorate from USC and teaches at Elon University. Gregory Thompson, piano, also received his doctorate from USC. He teaches at Winston-Salem State University and will be accompanying Dr. Knight.

Russian String Orchestra – Former Kremlin Orchestra

Hosted by Presbyterian College on the 100-year anniversary of the October Revolution, the Russian String Orchestra (formerly the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin) will perform works by Rossini, Prokofiev, and Tchaikovsky. Founded in Moscow in 1991, the orchestra, comprised of some of Russia’s finest young string players, performs under the baton of music director Misha Rachlevsky.  About half of the orchestra’s performance occur while on tour throughout the world in  North and South America, Europe and the Far East.

Christmas at PC! is, arguably, the most spiritual, musically satisfying, and meaningful collegiate Christmas performance in South Carolina and has become a holiday staple for our area.

Featuring all the PC choirs, strings, winds, percussion, and keyboardists in a stunning visual presentation in a decorated Belk Auditorium, seats for the Saturday night and Sunday afternoon performances are much in demand.
