WHAT YOU’LL STUDY

The media studies minor with the business concentration could include courses in accounting, business administration, digital marketing, and media studies. Twenty-one to twenty-four hours are required to earn the minor.

Five courses are required:

  • Introduction to Media Studies
  • Principles of Financial Accounting
  • Marketing
  • Small Business Management
  • Principles of Macroeconomics

An internship in media studies is also required where they will earn three to six hours of course credits. You’ll round out your media studies minor by taking Managerial Communication or Public Speaking.
