Carefully designed coursework, along with multiple hours spent in local PK-12 classrooms, prepares majors to work with students with a variety of exceptionalities at multiple grade levels. Coursework also helps students prepare for licensure exam requirements. Special education majors receive careful guidance from special education faculty members and cooperating teachers in the field.
