Hometown: Warner Robins, GA
PC Background: At PC, I majored in biology with a minor in chemistry. My concentration was pre-med, as I hope to attend medical school someday. I was a baseball player and had the opportunity to be captain of the team my senior season. I was involved in other organizations like the pre-med club and CHAMPS. I also tutored for biology classes and was a teacher assistant for labs.
What’s your favorite PC memory? I have two favorite PC memories. One is playing in the PC’s first-ever Big South Championship game my junior year. The other is getting set up with my girlfriend by my paleontology professor. There was a BBQ at his house which he said was a “biology majors dinner.” But it was only thrown so that Anna and I could meet each other. I was oblivious to it at first, but we’ve been together ever since.
What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done? I would say it’s a tie between getting three hits off of the #1 overall pick in the 2018 MLB Draft and getting to use a DaVinci robot, a medical tool that makes surgeries less invasive.
What’s your hidden talent? It’s pretty basic, but I can juggle (only three items, though).
What’s your best advice for students during their college search? Visit the schools that fit your personality, and imagine yourself attending them. If you can picture yourself there, you’ll have a much easier time selecting where you want to further your education.
