PC Background: During my time at PC I was a Psychology and Christian Education double major. I was a member of Alpha Delta Pi and served on the executive board of the sorority. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a Big Sister at Thornwell, as part of the Big Brother, Big Sister program. Additionally, I was a part of Student Volunteer Services. While at PC, I also was given the opportunity to go on two different ‘Maymester’ trips – one to Kenya, Africa and one to Istanbul, Turkey.
What is your favorite PC memory? I think one of my top memories would be the 80’s band party outside of Richardson Hall the beginning of my senior year. Everyone was back at PC after a long summer, and we were all so excited to be home.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be the ‘check-out’ lady at Harris Teeter (the local grocery store). This dream has still not come true.
If there was a book about your life, what would the title be? This One Time…

What’s your best advice for students during their college search? Take your time. It’s ok if you aren’t sure of a top choice right away. It will all fall into place. Try to focus equally on both the academic life a campus will offer as well as the social aspect. Both are very important, and both make for a well-rounded college experience. Plus, professors who are very willing to offer advice/help are WONDERFUL.
