Mark Fox '08

Director of Admissions

My name is Mark Fox, and I am the Director of Admissions at Presbyterian College. I graduated from PC in 2008 with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. After spending a year teaching science outside of Charlotte, NC, I returned to PC and have been helping students navigate the college search ever since. Working at PC has given me the opportunity to travel and work with people from all over the globe. I have visited schools up and down the East Coast, assisted transfer and international students, served as the athletic liaison, and even donned the Scotty the Scotsman costume. Currently, my role consists of supporting our counseling staff, working with athletics, managing social media, and looking for new ways to promote PC.

Over the years, I have been asked hundreds of questions about PC, but here is one of my favorites; “Why should I consider Presbyterian College?” Of course, we have a beautiful campus, a pharmacy school, and division-I athletics, but what sets PC apart from our peer institutions is the opportunity to customize your college experience. By giving them the keys to their undergraduate years, PC enables students to pursue secondary interests, explore other cultures, contribute on campus, and continue to develop artistic, athletic, and musical talents.

If you are looking to step outside the box and are up for a challenge, I invite you to come visit. It’s an exciting time to be a Blue Hose, and I hope you will join us.
