The Presbyterian College Outdoors Club seeks to engage students in outdoor adventure and an active pursuit of hiking, kayaking, rafting, biking, obstacle/adventure racing, running, canoeing, etc. to teach students basic activity principles as well as an understanding of each activity.
Students engage in conservation and preservation of local natural resources modeled by “Leave, No, Trace” principles. Meaningful relationships between students, staff and faculty are developed by the pursuit of outdoor development and mentoring. Students will discover through physical adversity that they will build a strong sense of teamwork, communication, commitment, knowledge and respect of the outdoors.
