Parent and Family Council Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in the Presbyterian College Parent and Family Council. By participating in the Parents & Family Council, you will help play a critical role in the lives of all PC students. Through volunteerism, communication, engagement, and philanthropy, the PC Parents & Family Council enhances the PC experience for the entire family!

Council Member Benefits

  • Receive quarterly updates with the latest PC news to include upcoming events, important dates, student stories, college announcements, and new involvement opportunities. 
  • Personalized staff assistance from the PC Advancement Team and Student Life in navigating the collegiate experience alongside your student. 
  • On-Field recognition during the Family Weekend Football game.

*Includes all donors who have made a gift of $1,000 or more.

Council Member Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in Council projects and initiates while serving as a positive ambassador for PC in your local community. 
  • Make a personally meaningful annual gift to PC by supporting the PC Fund or the Scotsman Club
  • Serve on the Council for a minimum of 1-year.

Council Member Roles & Terms

  • Parent and Family Council Chair (1 couple or single parent)
    • 1-Year Term 
    • Preferred to have served as a Class Chair prior to becoming Council Chair 
    • Selected by PC Advancement and Student Life 
  • Class Chairs
    • 1-Year Term 
    • Preferred to have served as a Class Chair prior to becoming Council Chair 
    • Selected by PC Advancement and Student Life 
      • Senior Class Chairs (1-3 couples or single parents)
      • Junior Class Chairs (1-3 couples or single parents) 
      • Sophomore Class Chairs (1-3 couples or single parents) 
      • Freshman Class Chairs (1-3 couples or single parents) 
  • General Membership 
    • 1-year term 
    • All current PC parents and family members are welcomed and invited to serve.
