Dining Services

Greenville Dining Hall and Springs Food Court reopen with regular hours on January 22.

PC Dining Services has implemented precautions in an effort to remain healthy during the pandemic. We do this while maintaining quality food services and serving freshly prepared entrees, fresh fruits and vegetables, and healthy options. All dining locations offer a contactless transaction so be sure to have your PC ID ready.

Using the guidance provided by SC DHEC and CDC, our teams have had comprehensive training and will use:

  • PPE – Gloves, face coverings and physical barriers
  • Physical distancing in the kitchens
  • Pre-shift health screenings at the time clocks including temperature checks
  • Antibacterial and antiviral cleaning solutions for high touch areas, service platforms and food prep areas

Whether you choose GDH or Springs, please:

  • Stay physically distanced when dining so please do not rearrange the furniture.
  • Limit time while dining in to allow others time for meals
  • Consider the GDH to-go program, Boar’s Head Express Lane and enhanced offerings of Grab & Go items from POD.

Dining in GDH

Here are a few things to know about eating in or getting your meal to-go in Greenville Dining Hall:

  • Tables have limited seating and are spaced six feet apart.
  • Please be conscious of others’ health and do not move chairs from tables.
  • Seating and building occupancy levels have been based on health agency guidelines.

If you’re eating in…

  • Dine & dash! Be mindful of time spent in the dining hall and allow others to dine too.
  • If you have Premium Access & All-Access Meal Plans, you’re welcome to unlimited all-you-care-to-eat meals in GDH. You can have a meal and visit later in the day for a snack.

Get your meal to-go…

A to-go box program is offered in GDH. You may not dine in GDH with your to-go box if you choose a to-go meal.

Dining areas are available outside of GDH under the large tents.  Enjoy your meal al fresco!

The to-go meal option includes:

  • A large container for you to fill with your favorite food selections
    • Sustainable to-go boxes are available.
  • Customizable Pre-packaged salads, fresh fruit, and desserts
  • Bottled water or a canned soft drink

Still Hungry?

If you have premium access or an all-access meal plan, you have unlimited access to GDH so stop by for a snack or another meal.

Springs Food Court

Springs Food Court has limited seating available but is designed for the student who is on the go. Everything is packed to be portable from the Springs Food Court.

If you choose Springs, you can dine in, use the outdoor seating area with umbrellas, sit in the student center, or take your meal with you.

Springs offers:

  • Increased selection of Grab & Go menu items from POD
  • An express lane at Boar’s Head Deli
  • Contactless transactions at each dining location
  • Two patios for outdoor dining
