Face Coverings and Social Distancing

Face Coverings

All faculty, staff, and students are required to wear face coverings while on campus. Face coverings should be worn in public and PC community spaces, including:

  • Academic and administrative buildings
  • Greenville Dining Hall
  • Springs Student Center
  • Community spaces in residence halls
  • Walkways

Face coverings may be removed if you are 1) outside on campus, 2) walking by yourself, and 3) without anyone within 6 feet of you. Otherwise, if you’re in groups outside, or inside campus buildings, please continue to wear masks as required by existing policy

Wearing face coverings when within 6 feet of others is also expected during formally scheduled and informal events, meetings, programs, and all other gatherings.

Social Distancing

When possible, maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from others when:

  • Exercising
  • Sitting (while eating and in lounges)
  • Standing
