Come be a Blue Hose for a day! Join Presbyterian College and the Office of Religious Life & Service for our biggest event of the year. The theme for this event is “Rivers & Roads.” We cannot wait to walk with you on this journey of faith!


Please fill out this form to register your group for Presbyterian College Youth Day 2017. You can mail your check prior to November 12, or you can bring it with you to Youth Day. Checks made payable to Presbyterian College. Youth in 6th grade through 12th grade are welcome to attend.

10 a.m. — Worship Experience with David LaMotte

11:30 a.m. — PC Scavenger Hunt

1 p.m. — Tailgate Lunch Bailey Stadium

2 p.m. — Presbyterian College vs. Gardner-Webb

Guest Preacher

Our preacher for the day will be David LaMotte. David LaMotte, is an award-winning song writer, children’s book author, and founder of a successful non-profit for schools in Guatemala. In 2008 LaMotte suspended his music career to give his focus to his other vocational passion, peacemaking. He completed a Rotary World Peace Fellowship in International Relations, Peace and Conflict Resolution at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia and the Gandhian development organization in Andhra Pradesh, India.

In 2004, David and his wife Deanna founded PEG Partners, a non-profit organization that supports literacy, critical thought, and artistic expression in Guatemala. He continues to serve as the President of PEG. He is also a consultant on Peace and Justice for the North Carolina Council of Churches and recently completed his sixth and final year on the AFSC Nobel Peace Prize Nominating Task Group.
