My area of expertise centers on health disparities research, with a particular emphasis on the experiences of Black and Spanish-speaking patient populations. My projects are grounded in investigating the barriers these communities face in accessing equitable pharmacy care and exploring strategies to improve patient outcomes through culturally responsive interventions. I also seek to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and involve students in research activities that promote understanding and address the unique needs of underrepresented groups in healthcare.
