DESCRIPTION:High-profile leaders in the business world speak about how to run a successful business that maintains a moral code in which employees can take pride and use as a guide for day-to-day activities. The late Robert M. Vance considered ethics\, honesty and integrity to be extremely important. He lived these qualities as a business leader in Clinton\, S.C. Funded by the Bailey Foundation\, this program is a tribute to the late businessman’s legacy and his numerous contributions to the Clinton community. The speakers\, CEOs and other top managers address business ethics as the overall theme. \nThe program is a tribute to Mr. Vance’s legacy and his numerous contributions to the Clinton community. Each year\, CEOs\, presidents and other top managers address the topic of business ethics. \n2026 Guest Speaker: \nLiz Wolverton \nChief Digital and Product Solutions Officer\, Pinnacle Financial Partners \nLiz Wolverton is the Chief Digital and Product Solutions Officer at Pinnacle Financial Partners.  In this role\, Wolverton guides the firm’s digital vision\, sets investment priorities for capabilities and oversees the delivery of the Pinnacle product portfolio as well as the mobile and online client platforms and banker- facing client delivery platforms. Wolverton has been with Synovus for more than two decades with prior roles as Director of Finance (2003)\, Senior Director of Banking (2011)\, Chief Strategy and Customer Experience Officer (2014)\, and as Executive Vice President and Head of Consumer Banking and Brand Experience (2021). \nPrior to her banking career\, Wolverton served as Finance Director for the former BI-LO Center Arena in Greenville\, South Carolina\, and began her career in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services Division at Ernst & Young in Greenville and Atlanta. \nWolverton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting from Presbyterian College (1996). She has been recognized for twelve consecutive years as one of American Banker’s Most Powerful Women to Watch and is a recipient of the Synovus Jim Blanchard Leadership Award\, the bank’s highest internal leadership honor. \nShe is active in community service\, having served on the boards of Make-A-Wish® Georgia\, the Columbus Museum\, and on the advisory board of the REACH Georgia Foundation. Wolverton resides in Columbus\, Georgia with her husband\, Bobby and is mother to two college age daughters\, Graham (senior at TCU) and Molly Gobbel (sophomore Army Cadet at Virginia Tech).
