On air with WPCX
WPCX is PC’s student-run college radio station. Founded in 1990, the station first went by the name “Radio Free PC.” Today, WPCX is funded by the Russell Program for student media. We are a licensed FM broadcast station serving the Presbyterian College campus and broader Laruens County community. The broadcast booth is located in the Thomason Library Media Services suite.

Our Mission
Our primary goal is to give PC students a platform for developing skills in media, communication, and technology. WPCX staff produce and host live on-air radio shows, gaining valuable experience that is desirable for employers seeking people who are creative, motivated, and team-oriented.

Music
Student DJs play music of all styles, genres, and varieties.
Talk
PC students host live on-air talk shows on their favorite topics.
Podcasts
Student-produced podcast episodes feature in our weekly rotation.
