You’ll find lots to love about Clinton, S.C., a picturesque small town with a population of under 10,000. Clinton welcomes PC students with an event downtown every fall, and students return to downtown when they venture off campus to frequent the charming shops that are less than a mile away. Students find places to serve and intern in Clinton too, like the Community Garden, the Palmetto Equestrian Therapeutic Riding Program, and the offices of local health care providers.
History buffs love to visit the Battle of Musgrove Mill State Historic Site, and students who like golfing tee off at the Arnold Palmer-inspired Musgrove Mill Golf Course. While there’s a fitness center on the PC campus, some students like to complement their workouts by going to the local CrossFit gym and the Clinton Y.
When it’s time for a bite to eat, Clinton serves up restaurants that you’re probably familiar with, like Arby’s, Zaxby’s, and Waffle House. And you’ll also have your pick of local establishments that PC students prefer, like Senor Garcia Mexican Restaurant, Wilson’s Curb Market, and others.
