Service Isn’t Just An Idea It’s Your Path to Purpose

The Presbyterian College motto “While We Live, We Serve” isn’t just a saying—it’s the foundation of who we are and how we engage with the world. This powerful ethos infuses every aspect of campus life, from academic pursuits to student organizations.

When you join the Presbyterian College community, you become part of a legacy of service that stretches back to our founding in 1880. Our students don’t wait until graduation to make an impact—they actively engage in service throughout their time here, developing the leadership skills and ethical foundation needed to become agents of positive change.

EPIC Service

EPIC Service represents a purposeful approach to education that weaves service directly into your academic journey, allowing you to earn credit while making a real difference in communities locally, nationally, and globally.

EPIC Service stands for Engaged, Purposeful, Interdisciplinary, and Connected—core values that define our approach:

  • Engaged: Move beyond the classroom to apply your knowledge through hands-on experience and skill development
  • Purposeful: Build transformational, long-term partnerships with communities and organizations
  • Interdisciplinary: Connect service with your specific field of study across all academic departments
  • Connected: Engage with communities at local, national, and global levels
